We like to make it personal
Upon arriving on Catalina Island, you can either enjoy a scenic walk or use the COAST (City of Avalon Seaside Transit) service. COAST can take you to your hotel or to the Catalina Film Festival Check-In & Registration Office, located in the Hotel Metropole Conference Room.
Additionally, CFF volunteers will be operating golf carts to transport guests between official festival venues. Please note: these carts are for venue-to-venue transportation only and do not provide pick-up or drop-off at the ferry dock or hotels.

Attending
To begin your festival experience, head to our Check-In & Registration Office in the Hotel Metropole Conference Room (205 Crescent Ave, Avalon, CA 90704). Once you arrive, you’ll be able to pick up your badge, passes, and any tickets.

TO HELP GUIDE YOU
Entering the Metropole Marketplace & Hotel (see photo above), walk past the Three Palms Arcade on your right. Continue straight, and you’ll pass Catalina Coffee & Cookie Co. (see photo above-right), also on your right. Just after the coffee shop, turn right and walk toward Hotel Metropole. The M Restaurant will be on your right—its entrance is easy to spot—and the entrance to our Festival space is immediately to the right of the restaurant.
CHECK-IN & REGISTRATION
Our Check-In Team will be there to welcome you. Please follow the posted signage to find the correct line. If you pre-registered, your packet will be ready when you arrive—just bring a valid photo ID to collect your badge, passes, and any tickets.
If you didn’t pre-register, you can register on-site. In most cases, the process takes about 5–10 minutes, depending on your group size.

CIRCUIT-COAST
For ferry dock pick-up or drop-off, look for the designated CIRCUIT-COAST (City of Avalon Seaside Transit) areas. Fares are $2.00 per ride, plus $2.00 for each additional passenger, capped at $6.00 per group.

Each request has a passenger limit of 5 and may include pooled rides. As a result, you may share the vehicle with other riders outside your party.
