Lion’s Den

10:30AM to 2:00PM

Catalina Film & New Media Summit introduces the Lion’s Den! This is a three hour panel of accredited investors, called “lions,” who consider offers from aspiring filmmakers seeking funding for their feature/short film or TV/Web series. The lions are not paid for their participation on the panel, but the money they invest is their own. The filmmaker can make a deal live during the program if a panel member is interested. However, if all of the panel members opt out, the filmmaker leaves empty-handed. They will have seven minutes to pitch their project.
